Mr. Fred Vigorito
Connecticut Investor
Fred Vigorito is the true life story about a retired communications executive who falls victim to all the things wrong with stockbrokers. Personifying a trusting investor, Vigorito recounts how he was sold the equivalent of the "Brooklyn Bridge" and "Florida swampland" all rolled up into one. Fred now spends his retirement days working to make ends meet &emdash; surviving a retirement far different than what he was promised by his broker. Encouraged to buy high flying technology stocks in the late 1990's — and told to hold on to them during their free-for-all tumble during the dot-com bust — Vigorito provides a cathartic experience for all investors. His personal stories put a real face to the abuses and conflicts of interest experienced by average investors like you and me when we rely on the investment advice offered by stock brokers. To listen to Fred tell his story is to experience first-hand the slight-of-hand of the Wall Street marketing machine. Forewarned is forearmed!
